Introduction

Ernest Hemingway, a noble prize winner in literature, healthful known for his piffling stories which were published in 1975; was also the surpass known American writer of all time. A novelist and journalist, Ernest Hemingway was the ecstasy for writers of that era; he contributed to the enhancement of literature, for those who write stories for a living.
His books were recognize in Western and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia, and in the blue and southern parts of America and Africa, before his first serous novel, The cheerfulness Also Rises was edited, his c arer as a writer was already international.
The short story The Old Man and the ocean is semi-autobiographical, and it reflects the man he had once been. For years, Hemingway had known the story of the distinguished old fisherman, who conquered a huge marlin only to see it destruct by sharks. As the story developed in his mind, it takes directions and turns into a parable.
